History

Beautiful scenic image of majestic mountains and water depicting our history

The renowned history of Salmon Fishing in Campbell River is no secret. For over three decades, Silver King Lodge has been functioning from its prime location on the banks of the Inside Passage. Our enterprise has expanded from a modest collection of Boston Whalers to a squadron of 24 ft Sea Ray Cruisers, and the lodge can now host up to 28 guests. Initially, our guiding regions included Campbell River, Bute Inlet, Knight Inlet, and Stuart Island, but we have since incorporated optional day trips to the West Coast Vancouver Island in the Nootka Sound area into our packages. We now offer exclusive accommodation packages for this area. Silver King Lodge was built with groups in mind and we have continued to adhere to that philosophy.

The lodge is partitioned into three distinct sections, allowing us to accommodate three groups simultaneously. Often, larger parties may occupy the entire lodge or choose any combination. Our lodge is perfect for couples and smaller gatherings.

Constructed with the belief that privacy enhances group cohesion, this arrangement is perfect for Corporate Team Building events, family and friends gatherings, and groups of long-time fishing enthusiasts who have been appreciating our setup for numerous years.

We've aimed to eliminate the uncertainty in planning a trip. A single call is all you need to embark on the journey you've always imagined. Our packages, meticulously crafted over the past 34 years, take care of all the particulars. Simply unwind, take in the stunning landscapes and wildlife the lodge offers, while we handle all the necessities.

Our legacy persists, and the service we've delivered has ensured our guests keep coming back year after year. Don't hesitate, give us a call. Whether it's ticking off a dream from your bucket list, reuniting with old friends, or organizing a corporate fishing trip, we're here to assist.

We eagerly anticipate your visit.
